Safari Packing Guide

When travelling on a mobile safari, all luggage must be compact, light and easy to pack into the trailer. Each guest is limited to 12 kilograms of luggage in a soft carrier bag and an additional small daypack plus limited camera equipment. The following is a list of items that we recommend that you bring along.

General
• Passport and valid visas
• Good quality flashlight and spare batteries/bulbs
• Even in summer it can get cold so always bring a good quality fleece
• Swimming costume, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
• Clothing in neutral colours
• Beanies, scarf and gloves for the cold early morning game drives in winter – it can reach 0˚C
• Covered walking shoes or boots and open sandals
• Good waterproof gear in summer (sporadic thunderstorms)
• Camera with spare batteries, film or memory cards
